Class actions are typically high-stakes lawsuits involving hundreds if not thousands of plaintiffs injured in a similar manner. We work with class representatives in dissecting what are typically complex webs of financial and other documents to uncover the underlying conduct.
Class actions can arise in all areas of the law (such as product liability, consumer, construction defect, investment fraud, securities, environmental, privacy, etc.). Class actions differ from typical litigations in that a myriad of rules and regulations apply to such litigation and these lawsuits generally involve dozens (if not hundreds or thousands) of plaintiffs challenging the policies or conduct of much fewer defendants.
We have successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of class actions. Our practice focuses on obtaining quick and efficient results in this area as prolonged litigation rarely benefits any of the parties involved in class actions. Of course, if an action must be fought, we are prepared to zealously represent our clients through trial and beyond to obtain fair and equitable results.
